Longyards started with one man, one idea, and one yard. Chris Long went from carpenter to founder — building outdoor storage into one of the fastest-growing names in the space, and operating it every day.
That hands-on experience is why Longyards actually works for the people who use it: contractors, landowners, and partners who want a real, running operation behind them.
The first yard opened in Ottawa in 2019. Today there are 168 active yards across four live markets, with seven more cities in the queue — and a modular system built so that when a market wants a yard and there isn't one, that's a problem we can actually solve.
