Chris started in small steps, renovating the house, improving the land, and adding the gates, fencing and cameras. As the founder, he was passionate and determined to develop this business. He was all-in.
In October 2019, Longyards Storage opened five empty yards and celebrated this milestone with a ribbon cutting ceremony. Within two months, their space was fully leased. Today, they have a fully built-out space.
When Longyards first started, the property was purchased for only $470,000. Shortly after they opened, the very same property was appraised for $3,640,000, with only $500,000 of investor support.
